The Idea Machine for Writers is an incredibly easy-to-use yet powerful tool for generating story ideas for writers wanting to write short stories, novels, screenplays and scripts. The program is capable of potentially generating millions of story ideas that will help you get started on your next project. The core idea behind this program is our software engine that randomly generates story ideas based upon millions of different combinations of people, places, times and events. Each story idea is comprised of five elements. These are: The Story Location: This is the physical setting where the story takes place The Story Timeline: This is when the story takes place The Main Character: This is the name of the person behind the story event The Character's Occupation/Description: This provides the character with some form of identity The Main Conflict: This sets up a potential situation that this character has found themselves in Each one of these elements is randomly selected from a bank of entries and combined to produce a potential story idea. The ideas generated, combined with your mental image of the idea after reading it, is the key to getting you started on your story. You can add and remove new story elements and save your ideas.
