K-Sphere is an innovative Internet program that is considered the leagal Napster of knowledge. It uses instant messaging to take the popular `ask-an-expert` concept one step further. The result is a vast network of information sharing, where human-based information is just a click away. As a K-Sphere user, you're pooling your special knowledge and interests with those of people around the world. During the set-up process, you're asked to choose various subjects that you're knowledgeable in. Topics range from technology to business to science. Whenever you need to learn about something, you can submit a question to the network. The program then displays the on-line status of each expert. User listings come complete with match percentages, proficiency ratings and courtesy ratings. By selecting an expert, you can submit the question via an instant message or live on-line chat. Also, answers may be directed to your standard e-mail account. Mainly, your new information is gathered and viewed from K-Sphere's main window. In addition, you can click the `My Queries` tabs to view and answer questions that are submitted to you. Because K-Sphere is totally live, you may field questions whenever you're on-line and the client is running from the system tray.
