The Vicomsoft Internet Gateway is an integrated suite of extended Internet connectivity modules. It incorporates a large range of functions including: NAT (Network Address Translation) for Internet connection sharing; industrial strength TCP/IP router; high performance web caching server for accelerated throughput; Connection Teaming to make best use of any available connections; VPN using PPTP; DHCP server for ease of administration; DNS caching for faster access; local DNS server and firewall security. Optional features include a WebHeader server for managing the dissemination of company information; a Remote Access Server; Remote Administration; an Offline Caching Library; Time Controls; Site Filtering and a Local TCP Server Locator.
