Pagegate is a sophisticated wireless messaging server application. It can send SMS and text messages to pagers, mobile phones, PIMs and other wireless devices. PageGate can accept messages from many different sources: networked computers running the PageGate Windows Client program, email messages that are received in (SMTP) or messages that are collected (POP3), web pages on an intranet or the Internet (CGI), executables run from the commandline, text files that are scanned for messages, serial ports that receive textual data, and data received from a modem connection. PageGate supports several delivery protocols and delivery methods. Messages can be delivered via the Internet using the following protocols: SNPP, WCTP, and SMTP (email). Messages can be delivered via modem using the following protocols: TAP, UCP, GSM, and touch Tones. Messages can also be delivered directly to a terminal or encoder via a direct serial (RS232) connection. PageGate is scaleable for high-end / high-throughput applications. Up to sixteen modems can be used simultaneously for message delivery. Up to sixteen simultaneous internet connections are also supported. A single PageGate server can be run across multiple computers for distributed message processing. PageGate supports many advanced features. Redundant outbound connections in the event of hardware or phone line failures. Message rerouting on delivery failure enables messages to be sent to secondary devices, or to be resent to the same device through a different connection method. On-call groups can be used with schedules to automatically route messages to just the people that are currently 'on call'. Non-critical messages can be automatically held overnight and delivered at the beginning of the business day. PageGate makes administration easy with a centralized database, an easy to use object oriented administration program, and a real-time monitoring program that can be run remotely (even over the internet) |

OmniAudit automatically and transparently tracks changes to data in any column of any table in your Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 or 2000 databases. Simply select the tables and columns you want to audit, and OmniAudit does everything for you. OmniAudit captures changes regardless of the application used to change the data: a commercial software package, an in-house application, or even the native tools provided with SQL Server such as Query Analyzer…OmniAudit catches it all and records what data was changed and who changed it. OmniAudit not only captures before and after values for each changed column, but also identifies: the user, date and time, the workstation used, and the application used to make the change. You decide which tables and columns to audit; OmniAudit automatically generates triggers to maintain an audit trail of all inserts, updates, and deletes made to that data. OmniAudit is a completely server-side solution which requires no modifications to any client software. Data auditing can be valuable to an IT organization in a number of ways: * Database administrators can more easily troubleshoot and track down the origin of data corruption. * Organizations with internal or regulatory requirements for following the history of data can do so easily, even if their software doesn't already handle this requirement. * Software developers can more easily develop and debug applications by tracing how data gets changed by any particular function of the software. Find unintentional side-effects faster and easier. * Quality Assurance functions can validate data altering features more quickly and with greater accuracy. Using OmniAudit Log Viewer, you can quickly and easily sift through the compiled audit log history in a number of ways. Filter audit log data on date/time, table/column, user, workstation…any of the key variables tracked by OmniAudit. Audit log data can be exported to standard file formats including text, Excel and XML. |

The Code Viewer is an add-in for Visual Basic 6.0 which replaces most of the functionality of the Project Explorer. In addition, it provides you with a means of exploring the code layout in a compact a useful manner. The viewer is laid out much like the Project Explorer, the different categories of file are listing in folders in the tree view. Each time you open a file node, the code for that file is parsed and added to the treeview. When the node is closed, the lines are removed again to conserve resources. If there is invalid code in the file, it will immediately be displayed for you in red text By double clicking on a line, you will be taken to that line, allowing you to quickly examine and correct errors. To put a file into a folder you have created, simply drag the object onto the destination folder, and it will be moved. Once a folder has had files added to it, removing all the files from it will cause it to be removed from the list of folders, and it will have to be recreated if you want to use it again. New files will automatically be added to their proper folder type. |
