ChatOmatik is a Web component that allows you to host your own text Chat on your Web site.

Main features are:

• simple, bilingual interface
• integrated tool to change Chat session parameters
• Chat session lives in memory only: nothing is written to disk
• just one small DLL to register: no need for specialized server-side or client-side software
• Users only need a standard Web navigator to participate in a Chat session
• moderator can:
  • set the number of messages kept in memory
  • set the maximum number of simultaneous users
  • change the moderator's default user name
  • decide if the Chat session is moderated or not
  • remove users from the Chat session
  • choose between french and english as the default display language

Requirements:

• Server: IIS Web server with Active Server Pages and sessions enabled
• Client: internet connection and a navigator with cookies and Javascript enabled
