Points Import for IntelliCAD 1.0

Points Import for IntelliCAD is a Point Text file import plug-in for IntelliCAD powered applications. This plug-in gives IntelliCAD powered applications the ability to import point data from text files. Point data is commonly stored in plain text file as a series of x, y and z coordinates, separated by a comma, space, tab, semicolon or a custom separator. These text files may also contain other information about the points such as point number and point descriptions. Moreover, points from a survey may be stored in the Northing, Easting, Elevation format. Points Import for IntelliCAD extracts the point information from text files and creates point entities in the active drawing. Points Import for IntelliCAD supports the following point file formats: X, Y, Z Number, X, Y, Z X, Y, Z, Description Number, X, Y, Z, Description Northing, Easting, Elevation Number, Northing, Easting, Elevation Northing, Easting, Elevation, Description Number, Northing, Easting, Elevation, Description Points Import for IntelliCAD is very easy to use as it adds a new command to the IntelliCAD powered application called "PointsImport". Simply type "PointsImport" at the command prompt and the "Point File" dialog (shown below) will be will displayed where you can select a Point file toimport into the active drawing.

STL Import for IntelliCAD 1.0

STL Import for IntelliCAD is a Stereolithography STL file import plug-in for IntelliCAD powered applications. This plug-in gives IntelliCAD powered applications the ability to import geometric data from ASCII and Binary STL files. The STL file format is the Rapid Prototyping industry's standard data transmission format and is the format required to interact with stereolithography machines. Stereolithography files contain solids which are made up of 3 sided facets. STL Import for IntelliCAD converts these facets into a single PolyFace Mesh entity and adds it to the active drawing. STL Import for IntelliCAD is very easy to use as it adds a new command to the IntelliCAD powered application called "STLImport". Simply type "STLImport" at the command prompt and select a STLfile to import into the active drawing.

OBJ Import for IntelliCAD 1.0

OBJ Import for IntelliCAD is an Alias Wavefront OBJ file import plug-in for IntelliCAD powered applications. This plug-in gives IntelliCAD powered applications the ability to import geometric data from OBJ files. Alias is the world's leading innovator of 2D/3D graphics technology for the film, video, games, interactive media, industrial design, automotive industry and visualization markets. Their OBJ ASCII file format is widely accepted the world over for exchanging data between CAD applications. OBJ files contain objects which are made up of groups of 3 or 4 sided faces. OBJ Import for IntelliCAD converts these groups of faces into PolyFace Mesh entities and adds them to the active drawing. OBJ Import for IntelliCAD is very easy to use as it adds a new command to the IntelliCAD powered application called "OBJImport". Simply type "OBJImport" at the command prompt and select an OBJfile to import into the active drawing.

HPGL Import for IntelliCAD 1.0

HPGL Import for IntelliCAD is a Hewlett Packard Graphics Language (HPGL) plot PLT file import plug-in for IntelliCAD powered applications. This plug-in gives IntelliCAD powered applications the ability to import geometric data from HPGL PLT files. HPGL is the Hewlett Packard Graphics Language designed for specifying 2D graphical information for the HP range of plotters. It was not intended as an interchange format but some software suppliers use it as such. HPGL is a command set embedded in the ROM of pen plotters to help reduce the work required by applications programmers to create plotted output. HPGL uses two-letter mnemonics as instructions for drawing lines, circles, text, and simple symbols. HPGL plot files contain information regarding the movement of the pen of the HP plotter. HPGL Import for IntelliCAD converts these pen movements into corresponding entities and adds them to the active drawing.
